In Paso, everything is under control. Always.

Roberto Belloni’s voice expresses how much he’s proud to be the Head of Quality Assurance.
A key-position of the PASO production cycle, sometimes the first step, sometimes the last one but always the “icing on the cake” of the whole process.

Roberto Belloni, together with his colleague Mauro Spernicelli, manage Quality Control Department that represents the Company’s Alfa and Omega with tasks consisting in various steps and at various levels of the process: starting from ensuring the quality of the purchased electronic components to the outgoing finished product tests.

Roberto, part of Paso Team more than 2 decades now, while briefing on Paso’s Quality organization,   focuses on this point: “My department deals with incoming and outgoing quality control procedures” – he explains very clearly. “Incoming control is dedicated to mechanical, physical and – if necessary – electrical aspects of the components we purchased before they’re stored in the warehouse. This operation comes full circle with the control of the finished product. All outgoing products are 100% tested, without distinction of type and use:  may they be loudspeakers, amplifiers or voice evacuation equipment, each part or device is subjected to an accurate final test in order to guarantee the quality of our production process.

The Quality for our company is within our fundamental values and its relevant processes and procedures are consolidated; to guarantee always the quality of our production and our work are a must: every single part of our products- before leaving the company is subject to this fundamental step: Quality control.

All the circuits and the boards that make up the product undergo an initial test in the semi-finished department and, after the assembly. Then, the boards are tested again as a finished product. We proceed then with the “User Test” i.e. we test the product simulating to be as the eventual end-user.”

However, Roberto Belloni’s department is not only in charge of checking and testing the products; all operating procedures, forms, staff training and, inevitably, improvements,  corrective actions that may be necessary for the refinement of production processes and system management also are coming out from quality dept. desks and laboratories.

“I’d like to highlight” – Roberto continues – “that Paso is a company grown with ISO 9000. Nowadays called ISO 9001, it’s a management system that combines functionality with agility; an added value for business processes, not an element of disturbance.

Paso obtained its first ISO 9000 certificate back in 1996;   this year we will be celebrating our “25th year anniversary” since our first quality system management certification.

The ISO 9001 concept is very well received: everyone within PASO company follows carefully the procedures relevant to this protocol.

In addition to that, there are all the aspects related to the European CPR certification for products construction.  We’ve been collaborating for more than ten years now, with the certification body MTIC InterCert in Rho, for both ISO quality systems as well as   for EN54 products certifications.”

In conclusion, we can say that in Paso everything is – widely – under control, in the true sense of the expression!

During one of the latest certification body yearly inspection, one MTIC InterCert organism   representative  told about Paso: “What I have always appreciated about Paso “- he says – “it’s that Paso is a real  manufacturing company, different from the companies I do deal with for certifications processes.”

Absolutely true… here in Paso we design, prototype, manufacture, store and market our products within domestic and export markets.

Paso is a “complete company”, Paso   does everything:  it begins with an idea…  it ends with a new product!”
