Today we take a brief look back at the recent past and bring you behind the scenes<\/em> of the 61st International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale<\/em><\/strong>, which opened on May 9th and will run until November 22nd, 2026.
\nThe project In Minor Keys<\/em>, conceived by Koyo Kouoh<\/strong> – the artistic director who sadly passed away prematurely in May last year – brings together 110 participants from different geographical areas. The exhibition spans the institutional venues of the Giardini, the Arsenale, various locations in Venice\u2019s historic center, and Forte Marghera.<\/p>\n

PASO was proud to contribute with its EN 54 certified products<\/strong> to the redevelopment project of the Central Pavilion at the Giardini<\/strong>. The project involved reorganizing exhibition spaces<\/strong> as well as public service areas<\/strong> such as the bookshop, caf\u00e9, educational room, and technical facilities. The systems were concealed within walls and roofing, fully freeing up the spaces and enhancing the clarity and elegance of the building\u2019s architectural lines.<\/p>\n

At the core of the PASO system designed for this installation is a 24U rack cabinet<\/strong> housing the CR8506-V<\/strong><\/a> control unit, 4x250W Class D PMG1000-V<\/strong><\/a> amplifiers, and a W-MS24\/40<\/strong><\/a> battery charger unit.<\/p>\n

Throughout the various environments, speaker units have been strategically distributed, carefully selected based on their technical characteristics<\/strong> as well as installation and aesthetic requirements<\/strong>, in relation to each specific location.
\nA notable example is the C6060N-EN<\/strong><\/a> and C6120N-EN<\/strong><\/a> column speakers: thanks to their refined design and excellent directivity and frequency response, they have delivered outstanding acoustic performance even in large spaces such as Exhibition Halls. The selection for the Biennale is completed by the C531\/10-EN<\/strong><\/a> and C575\/6-EN<\/strong><\/a> metal ceiling speakers, the C1050-EN<\/strong><\/a> wall-mounted speakers, and the C46\/10-EN<\/strong><\/a> sound projectors.<\/p>\n
