| | ITC2000-C Interphone systems for counters
ITC2000-C is a device for operator/public communications through the security-glass of a counter. The microprocessor control allows high quality performance and flexibility. The system offers different operation modes, it is configurable as hands-free “speak-hear” and, when connected to and amplifi er, it can be included in a public address system. This application is particularly interesting, because the operator, beside talking through the glass, can make announcements or receive calls from other operators (e.g. the security manager or other offi cers). The ITC2000-C is different from other systems in the market as it operates in attenuation mode instead of commutation.
• Therefore, the conversation is more natural, thanks to the cancellation of the unpleasant dialogue interruptions that characterise the devices operating in commutation mode. The operator post includes a gooseneck microphone, long enough to allow to speak with natural tone and volume, without problems of acoustic feedback. The listening system on the public side, must be completed with 1 or 2 PASO C401-B loudspeakers, made in aluminium, extremely robust and fit for anti-vandal applications (railway stations and underground lines, night-shift chemists). On the back of the operator consolle there are two standard 3,5 mm jack connectors to connect a headphone and/or an external microphone.
