The PMS2006-VES system has been designed and structured to allow easy installation and to be used in a vast range of applications with background music and emergency calls in compliance with the IEC 60849 regulation (hospitals, offi ces, shops, supermarkets, schools, universities, sports centres, etc.).
The basic configuration includes an amplifier and 6-zone controller (PM2006-V), with optional expansion up to 36 zones.
System complying according to the EN 60849 standards
Main features of the system:
• Emergency microphone control, up to 36 zones of broadcast, up to 31 broadcasting consoles, malfunctioning and/or failure detection (in 100 seconds), PC configuration software, control and supervising of the integrity of the ‘critical path’ (from emergency sources to the loudspeaker lines), functionality test of the loudspeaker lines (integrity and ground dispersion), two loudspeaker lines for each zone (A and B), override outputs to broadcast messages without fading, backup amplifier control, up to programmable I/O connections, secondary safety power supply.
• The system provides for the use of a main PMS2006-VES control box, of PM2006-V line control units (up to 6) and of power amplifiers.
• The control box includes all the boards needed to operate a basic 6-zone system (CPU, microphone control board, message generator, audio output module, I/O board, power supply).
• The PMS2006-VES can be easily expanded with different PMS2000 and PMS2000-VES series modules.
• The PM2006-V control unit can control up to 6 sound broadcast zones. Each zones includes two circuits (A and B) with separate control: in this way, the complete coverage of the area is guaranteed even in case of failure of one of the two line circuits. The PM2006-V unit can be confi gured with a single amplifi er, for both speech and music, or with 2 separate amplifi ers (one for speech and one for music). A third amplifi er may be added as a back-up. The system is compatible with any PASO amplifiers with 100 V output, guaranteeing great flexibility and within a reasonable budget.
